切片針和抽吸針差在哪
兩者常搭配使用，但取到的東西不同。切片針取的是「一整條組織」，能看到組織結構；抽吸針是用負壓把細胞吸出來，看的是單顆細胞。醫師會依要檢查的疾病選用，有時兩種都做。
誰會用到它
不是民眾自行購買的器材，而是由醫師在門診、內視鏡室或超音波／電腦斷層導引下操作。多數情況會先局部麻醉，穿刺類有時會用鎮靜藥物，實際做法依部位和醫院流程而定。

常見問題
切片檢查會痛嗎？
不一定，看部位和做法。內視鏡切片通常在做胃鏡、大腸鏡時順便夾，民眾多半沒特別感覺；穿刺切片會先打局部麻醉，過程中有酸、脹或壓迫感，麻藥退了可能痠痛一兩天。
切片會讓癌細胞擴散嗎？
不會。目前沒有證據顯示切片會把癌細胞「帶出去」擴散，反而是沒有切片就無法確定診斷、無法選對治療。醫師在規劃穿刺路徑時也會避開不必要的組織。
切片報告要等多久？
不一定。組織取下後要固定、脫水、包埋、切片、染色，再由病理醫師判讀，一般需要數個工作天；若需要特殊染色或第二意見，時間會更長。實際天數依醫院和檢體種類而定。
切片結果是良性就沒事了吗？
不一定。良性代表這次取到的組織沒有看到惡性變化，但有些病灶需要後續追蹤或再切片，因為取樣位置可能沒抓到病灶。要不要追蹤、多久追蹤一次，依醫師判斷。
